We've used Early Times since 2005 without event; they've done some cleaning and chimney work that has stood the test of time. During the recent cleaning there was a small mishap and a part to our wood stove got broken and needed to be repaired prior to use again.

Now, I'll be the first to admit that no one likes when accidents happen; however, I have to hand it to Early Times..they immediately brought my attention to the issue (unlike other companies that might try to hide or dismiss the problem), they laid out a plan to resolve it, and they sent their top technician over to make the repair. While we were waiting the part their communication was great and I was never left guessing what/when/how.

Now, some might think I am crazy for giving 4-star when there was a problem. My response is that stuff happens in life; one never knows the true integrity of a company until tey're challenged. Anyone can look good when things flow smooth. Early Times and I had a small hiccup. What mattered most to me is that they stood by their service and made things right. We've had Early Times do work for us three times, now. The service is prompt, pleasant and professional. Ken and Chad did some much needed work replacing the back wall of our fire box. resealing our chimney, and replacing our exhaust fan. They did a great job. I feel like our home is safer and more efficient than before. Ken was enthusiastic, answered all of our questions and really made us feel confident in his expertise. When we have early Times back to sweep our chimney again, we'll definitely look forward to Ken coming back!"

"Chim, chimney, Chim chimney, Chim Chim charoo"... why do I always want these guys to show up looking like Dick Van Dyke in the old Poppins movie?

Well - it doesn't matter what they look like (although they do have those long poles with the big brush on the ends) as they are one time, are efficient, completely priced, and don't leave my house full of soot when they are done.

Need I say more?

I have used Early Times both at my home and at the clients' home. The team at Early Times brave the worst of weather and complete their tasks. I have used them to rebuilt brick chimneys to a "simple" cleaning of the chimney. The most important thing about this company is honesty. They will tell you exactly what's right and what's wrong. They will also explain thoroughly what's involved in all repairs and any options that might exist to save money. They will not compromise safety and they stand behind their work.
