A chimney crown is a masonry roof that covers the top of your chimney. It prevents water from seeping into the masonry below. Water damaged or cracked chimney crowns can lead to costly chimney repairs.
A new crown is poured or installed when the original crown is no longer structurally sound. Our masons remove the deteriorated crown and pour a new crown with a proper overhang. The overhang protects the chimney from excessive water damage to the bricks and mortar below.
